Dear Reconciler Family,

Pastor Ed Kofol and Curtis May

My wife Jannice and I were invited to New Journey Christian Fellowship in Reno, Nevada for a Reconciliation Weekend by Pastor Ed Kofol.  And although we had not been there before, it was as if we knew them well.  They were warm and friendly and welcoming of this reconciliation event.  And we met several donors for the very first time and got a chance to thank them in person.  They were familiar with some of our activities and our main focus which is mending broken relationships and celebrating unity in diversity.  The ultimate goal, of course, is to “be one,” as Jesus exhorts us in John 17.  Pastor Kofol had me share ideas on reaching the local communities through reconciliation ministry.

Anecdotally, one couple that we talked with walked away with tears of appreciation for our work, and sadness over the state of the country and the world.  They have a zeal for Jesus and His longing for peace and unity.

Following services we had a Q & A session and recorded it for a broadcast on KCLE Big Country radio in the Ft. Worth, Texas area.  Their questions and comments were heartfelt and filled with appreciation and enthusiasm.  We were invited to come back for another visit.  Their church lunch was scrumptious!

On June 16, New Covenant Fellowship of Glendora, California celebrated their 40th anniversary.  Jannice and I were invited to share in their joy and achievements as they highlighted it with a comprehensive slide show and a great lunch!  As you may know, it’s the congregation pastored by Neil Earle (Reconcile editor) and his wife Susan, ORM secretary.  And one of the slide show presenters was Roger Lippross, Reconcile consulting editor.  One of the great strengths of the congregation is reconciliation.

Thank you so much for your loyal support and your sincere prayers.  It keeps us going as we seek to share the gospel of reconciliation in a divided world.  You are making a difference!

Love to all,

Curtis May
