Dear Reconciler,
As we enter the month of November I would like to begin by saying how thankful I am for you as supporters of what Jesus is doing in His Ministry of Reconciliation. The ORM team and I would like to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!
On September 28, the African Enterprise’s Board of Directors (of which I’m a member) and a number of other supporters celebrated its 50th anniversary as a ministry. It was founded through Dr. Michael Cassidy. (He gives God all the credit.) Dr. Cassidy was here in southern California to celebrate it. There have been over 600 events in Africa highlighting this event. In 1962 after walking 50 steps on a beach on the Ivory Coast he asked God for 50 years of ministry to Africa. It happened! A marvelous miracle for this white South African!
Yes, God is still performing miracles today. We see them daily as He transforms lives and reconciles people.
Your kind prayers and support are helping this transformation as God uses each of use as part of the body of Christ. Your year-end donations will help to kick-start us for 2013. Thank you!
By the way, as a reminder, I’m setting up my calendar for 2013. I plan to visit some of our support churches. So if any of you (with your pastor’s permission) would like to have me come out to your church, please let me know. Some may want to team up with other churches and invite friends to defray the cost.
We’re really excited about 2013 and reaching many more people with the gospel of reconciliation.
